Recently I attended the “Vote 2 End HIV” concert featuring Patti Labelle and Common. It was sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AIDS Atlanta, AHF Black Aids Crisis Taskforce and Reed for Hope foundation. The event targets the mission to end AIDS/HIV and encourages people to be safe and get tested. In addition it was very informative about raising awareness in the Black community.
The performances were epic, and special guest The Prancing Elites, Rev. Al Sharpton, and the Southern California Alpha All-Stars were all amazing! But the best performers of the night were by Common and Patti Labelle. This was my first time seeing both performers LIVE and it was the experience of a lifetime! Common brought to the stage his style of soul and the ladies absolutely loved it! Patti does what she doe best, and that’s put on a great performance! And in typical Patti fashion she kicked off her heels and got down to business! It was an amazing performance!!! I was so honored to attend and show my support for this great event. Check out a few photos from the event below.
